“And the night of Miracles…” is one of the most beautiful phrases used by Lucio Dalla in one of his musical masterpieces. And it’s true.
At the ABC Theater in Catania, it seems like a night of magic and musical miracles occurred with Valentino Aquilano, an extraordinary interpreter, since he was a child, of Lucio Dalla’s music.
He was accompanied by equally extraordinary musicians such as:
Francesco D’Alessandro (Bass), Roberto Mastro (Guitars), Mirko Minetti
(Drums), Alberto Grossi (Sax), Carmine De Qubellis (Keyboards).
Behind a great musical machine to which the ABC opened the curtain, we find a great organization like that of Sposito Mauro, to whom we congratulate.
The spectator experienced the wonderful sensation of attending a concert by Lucio Dalla, whose interpreter, a young man of great talent, gave moments of great musical depth.
With his vocal range, he manages to sing Lucio Dalla in an original way, always remaining pleasant and professional. The beautiful reinterpretation of the arrangements and the anecdotes told, give rise to a very special show.
His ability to involve the audience, led them to appreciate
the musical experience of that moment and the artists who performed on stage.
The study, passion and love for beautiful music, brought Valentino Aquilano so close to the artistic figure of Lucio Dalla, to feel it inside his skin and live it through his voice.
There were many exciting and fun moments, such as those that saw the audience singing to the notes of “4 Marzo 1943 and “L’ Anno che verrà”, or dancing to the notes of “Balla Balla Ballerino” and “Attenti al Lupo”.
At the end of the show, the spectator returns satisfied, because he has lived one of the most beautiful musical experiences, as a lover of Lucio Dalla’s music.
Catania was not the only Sicilian stop of the musical group in question.
The Tribute to Lucio Dalla also took place in the cities of Caltanissetta and Palermo.
